As an Idaho transplant with Texas roots, my love for aviation has taken me more places than I can count. I got the aviation bug in my late teens from a discovery flight my father wanted me to take since that was a dream of his growing up working on crop dusting planes.
I fell in love with airplanes and flying and eventually got my degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
My work history includes flight instruction (CFI, CFII, MEl), then on to being a Part 91 Contract Jet Pilot and aircraft manager, a Part 135 Medivac Pilot and aircraft manager, and flying a part 135 jet charter. I then entered the 121 world flying a 65,000 pound turbo prop around the PNW. I am currently lucky enough to fly 737's with my dream company.
My family and I moved to Idaho, which we love, and we plan to continue to planting our roots and raising our children.
I've always had a passion for general aviation and the dream to own my own dealership and Aircraft fleet. That dream is coming true through PacTex Aviation. I have plans for PacTex to begin acquiring Hangars and opening up maintenance facilities nationwide to better serve our customers and their ever changing needs.

Cooper is an accomplished aviation leader, pilot and advocate for women in flight. A licensed pilot since 2014, she was honored as Rookie Pilot of the Year (2015) and Pilot of the Year (2016), and is a recipient of Women in Aviation and Boeing’s prestigious Jeppesen Flight Scholarship. Cooper has also earned her certification as a Seaplane Pilot and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, with a career spanning from aircraft brokerage to her current role as Chief Operating Officer of PacTex Aviation LLC.
Beyond the cockpit, Cooper co-hosts and flies various aircraft in the aviation TV show Airspeed Alive and is the Pilot of the Gravity Gurus, a team selected for the 2025 DFW Red Bull Flugtag. She has served as Vice Governor of the Southwest Section of The Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots, chaired her local chapter for seven years, and contributed to the International Membership Committee. A committed member of Women in Aviation, she has served on multiple committees. Passionate about inspiring the next generation of aviators, she founded the Hangar 22 Scholarship Program, which has awarded over $20,000 in flight training and aviation gear to aspiring pilots in the last three years.
As a broker, Cooper prioritizes the needs of her clients, ensuring they receive the same level of care and consideration she would seek for herself in any transaction.

Louis is a Virginia-based pilot whose journey in aviation began early and has evolved into a full-fledged lifestyle. Earning his pilot’s license at 17 and purchasing his own airplane soon after, Louis has logged countless hours flying a wide range of aircraft, from towing banners to ferrying planes across the country.
Deeply committed to giving back to the aviation community, Louis volunteers with the Civil Air Patrol and serves as an EAA Young Eagles pilot, introducing young people to the thrill of flight. Whether flying missions, mentoring cadets, or giving first flights to future aviators, Louis is passionate about inspiring the next generation.
When he’s not flying, you’ll find Louis kayaking, fishing, or connecting with fellow pilots at airshows, fly-in pancake breakfasts, and aviation events across the country. He enjoys building relationships and growing his network within the aviation community — always eager to learn, share stories, and help others find their place in the skies.

Simona Baker leads PacTex Aviation’s social media and digital brand communications, creating content that connects aviators, owners, and enthusiasts with the stories and aircraft that define the industry.
A private pilot since 2019, Simona’s passion for aviation began with her first flight in a Cessna 150 over the California mountains. While family life keeps her grounded more often than in the past, she stays actively involved through continued learning and a home-built flight simulator that allows her to sneak in flights during nap times.

She has also supported aviation nonprofits through social media content and event coverage, helping strengthen outreach and community engagement across aviation.

RYAN MCCOY

Ryan is originally from Denham Springs, Louisiana. After college, he moved to Shreveport with his wife. Besides flying, his hobbies are hunting and fishing.
Ryan started in aviation at Louisiana Tech in 2019. While he was there, he got his degree in Professional Aviation along with all of his ratings. He started instructing in March of 2024.
He really enjoys watching people chase their goals in aviation. One reason he wanted to get into aircraft brokering is to help people get into the skies.
Similar to instructing, Ryan helps people to reach their aviation dreams by finding and locating their perfect aircraft. He is excited to work with customers to help them find the plane that’s right for them.

DYLAN COOK
ALABAMA BASED

Originally born and raised in Fresno, California, Dylan is now attending Auburn University to obtain a Bachelor’s in Aviation Management and Minor in Business.
Dylan originally found his love for aviation when he decided to take his first discovery flight on his 17th birthday. Since then, he has obtained his commercial rating and is currently working on his CFI certificate.
Outside of aviation, Dylan has also found roots in real estate. In 2022, he obtained his real estate license and started a company wholesaling homes in California. After college, Dylan plans to fly King Air 200’s for a part 135 company back in California. He is grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to gain a different realm of experience. His end goal in aviation is to fly Gulfstreams and manage aircraft.
Recently, Dylan took a significant step forward in his career by joining PacTex Aviation. In this role, he will use his knowledge gained through aviation and business to help ensure any client needs are met. His strong work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for aviation will allow for the “peace of mind” experience for any customer that comes his way.

JON COLBURN

After a 12 year career in Law Enforcement, an injury forced an early retirement and move to Idaho for Jon.
Aviation is in his blood, passed down from his Father. Jon has been flying since being put in a car seat in the back of his Father’s Cherokee 235.
Married with twin daughters, Jon often travels with his family around the PNW in their own Cherokee.
Jon is a commercial-rated pilot and flys skydivers during the Idaho summers. He plans to provide all PacTex customers with a stress-free experience and responsive care while utilizing PacTex services.

Anthony is a dedicated and experienced commercial pilot with over 7 years of experience in general aviation. His love for aviation started in his early childhood years, flying radio control toy aircraft.
Anthony was born and raised in Novato, California and graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s in Aviation Management in 2023, as well as obtained his commercial pilot’s license and multi-engine rating.
Since his graduation, he is eager to begin his Part 135 career as a King Air 350 Pilot, as well as continuing to help others find their dream plane.
Anthony is also a commercial UAV pilot and a proud member of AOPA. He has built numerous UAVs and flown a number of different makes and models of aircraft.
His passion for aviation and desire to connect with others who share this passion has led him to PacTex. He loves socializing with others in the aviation community and learning more along the way.
Anthony’s attention to detail is evident in everything he does. As a broker with PacTex, his organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to listen forms the basis of his client relationships, as he works to guide them in their quest to obtain their perfect aircraft based on their needs and desires. CODY COKER

Cody is originally from Calhoun, Louisiana. He currently lives in Manchester, New Hampshire, where he works as a cargo pilot. In his down time, Cody enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
Cody fell in love with aviation at the age of 18 when he took his first discovery flight. This experience ignited his passion to enroll in Louisiana Tech University’s aviation program, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Professional Aviation with a minor in Aviation Management in 2023. After completing his studies, he began flying for Pilots for Patients, a nonprofit flying organization, providing transport for patients to and from medical treatments. This opportunity to give back to the community while building time and experience further deepened his love for aviation. He then began working for a cargo company based out of Dallas, Texas, where he has gained valuable flight experience.
Cody loves making connections and meeting new people. He believes that building relationships is key to personal and professional growth, and he enjoys the opportunities that come from engaging with others in the aviation industry.

Nate is a dedicated general aviation pilot with extensive experience flying Cessna models 150, 140, and 172 on weekend excursions. He actively participates in local fly-in events and has had the opportunity to pilot a King Air and Phenom.
As a committed member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) and the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Nate is passionate about supporting youth aviation education initiatives.
Outside of aviation, Nate is enthusiastic about outdoor adventures. He enjoys hiking, maintaining an active fitness regimen, golfing, and is deeply committed to his faith.

Born and raised in the heart of California's wine country, Shelbi grew up immersed in her family's vineyard management business, spanning Sonoma County and Napa County. Driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact, she became a volunteer firefighter - a decision that ultimately led her to the aviation industry.

While pursuing a career in firefighting, she realized her dream of fighting fires from the sky. She began flight training in 2020, earned an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation in 2022, and secured her first flight position in 2023. Over the next two years, she served as an aerial fire suppression copilot, gaining invaluable experience. Now, she is focused on advancing her education and expanding her certifications to fully immerse herself in the aviation industry.

As a member of the Ninety-Nines International, Shelbi enjoys volunteering and promoting women in aviation. She plans to encourage and support potential future pilots by hosting events and presenting in classrooms. As Shelbi was not exposed to the aviation industry in her youth, she hopes to introduce young people to aviation and open their minds to the possibilities of a future in the industry.

Daniel Rodriguez is a commercial multi-engine pilot who recently graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s in Professional Flight. He is the first generation in his family to be born in the U.S.; his family is originally from Cuba.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, he now resides in Auburn, Alabama. From a young age, Daniel has had a passion for anything with an engine. His interest in cars, along with encouragement from his dad and extensive airline travel, evolved into a love for aviation. His fascination with exotic cars eventually led to a passion for general aviation and the freedom it offers.
Daniel decided to pursue his licenses, obtaining his private pilot license at 18 in Miami, Florida. He then attended Auburn University to complete his flight training and earn a degree. While at Auburn, he completed a course in Business Aviation, which introduced him to various aspects of the industry. Although he had always dreamed of selling exotic cars, this course opened his eyes to the world of aircraft sales.
Daniel joined the PacTex team because he believed in the company’s future and hopes to grow alongside it. As part of the PacTex team, he aims to use his current knowledge of aircraft and aviation skills to provide a superior broker experience compared to competitors. Thomas is very excited to be joining the PacTex team! He was born, raised, and currently resides in Newnan, Georgia, which is about 30 miles southwest of Atlanta. He went to the University of Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business

Post-college, he pivoted to the aviation industry and is currently working his way up the ladder of pilot ratings. Thomas does some part-time ATC communication contracting on the ATL airfield for various construction projects and holds another position as a line service technician at the Coweta County Airport.

Joining PacTex is a huge thrill for him because this role combines his business background, new-found love and passion for aviation, and allows for a ton of client-facing work. Thomas loves being around people and aligning himself with some of the core values of PacTex, which are transparency, integrity, and effective communication. He hopes to be able to apply his skills and develop new ones that best represent the mission of the company with thorough, motivated work. His goal and what he will strive for is that all involved parties’ best interests are adequately achieved even if it means going the extra mile!

Kevin Browne is a Instrument-rated private pilot, working on advancing his flight training. Kevin’s passion for aviation started at a young age, from watching planes taking off overhead from Laguardia airport, to plane spotting with his Uncle in Antigua, his affinity was turned to inspiration.
Kevin attended Bridgewater State University, with a focus in Aviation management. While attending Bridgewater, Kevin served as president of Alpha Eta Rho aviation fraternity. His time serving the fraternity and involvement in the aviation community gave him the opportunity to network and gain the skills that he has today.
His experience is a combination of general aviation and commercial aviation, giving him the needed understanding to work through any challenge thrown at him. Brian is currently located in Naples, Florida. After 20 years in education as a teacher / administrator in Connecticut, he decided to move to Florida to pursue his passion for a career in aviation. As Brian is currently looking to purchase an airplane for personal use, he realized how difficult this can be without any guidance or help from an experienced professional. Through mutual friends, Brian was introduced to PacTex Aviation.
While strategically thinking, Brian realized that it was time to learn this side of aviation, brokerage and business development. As educators are dedicated to their students' success, Brian is taking that same passion and commitment to helping PacTex Aviation clients streamline aviation sales and acquisitions. From the initial introduction to "Clear Prop" at the closing, Brian will be there each step to ensure customer satisfaction.
When Brian is not flying, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, attending air shows, sunsets at the beach, concerts and sporting events.

CHRIS ORTIZ

Chris has been a professional pilot for a little over two years, with aviation woven into his life for as long as he can remember. He began his flying career towing banners in both Florida and California, gaining valuable experience in unique environments that strengthened his skills and confidence as a pilot.

Chris's passion for aviation took root early. His father served as a B-1 and B-52 bomber pilot in the U.S. Air Force, making airplanes a constant part of his upbringing. Growing up around military bases and airfields, he developed a natural love for flying and a deep respect for the discipline and dedication required to be a pilot.

He eventually made his way to Arizona, where he met his soon-to-be wife at age 19. They have now been married for six years and recently welcomed their baby girl, who is about to turn one. Becoming a father has been both the most stressful and the most rewarding experience of his life, pushing him to grow not only as a pilot, but as a person.

ADDISON BRUSH
A love for aviation has been part of Addison’s story since before he could talk, thanks to his dad, who earned his wings in college. Although Addison didn’t begin flying until 2022, it quickly became clear that aviation wasn’t just a passion, it was his next career.
With over a decade of professional marketing experience, Addison is a driven, highly disciplined creative and entrepreneur. As the owner and operator of a freelance video and photography company, he brings a sharp eye, real-world insight, and strong communication skills to every project - delivering visuals that connect, inspire, and perform. Now, he aims to merge his marketing background with his passion for aviation, giving each client a top-tier experience in the sale or acquisition of their aircraft.

Alec Martinez is a private pilot with deep, hands-on involvement in the aviation industry. DALE OGDEN

Dale Ogden is a native of the Pacific Northwest. Growing up in the San Juan Islands, he has a varied background but caught the aviation bug at a very young age. At 15 he knew he wanted to be a pilot and in 1991 he followed his dream and obtained his helicopter rating
and private pilot’s license. Later, in 2001, he left the pacific northwest in pursuit of a commercial pilot’s license and eventually started flying part 121 at a regional airline. Dale moved on to flying with Virgin America, which became a part of Alaska airlines where he is
a captain.
In 2017 he was able to buy his dream plane, a Cessna 180, as well as an Aeronca Champ. He keeps his qualifications as a CFI, CFII, MEI, and unrestricted ATP current and has ratings in on the CRJ, 737, and Airbus 320 aircraft.
In his off-time Dale can be found flying his 180, working on the hanger he is building, or helping fellow aviators in his airpark community. With Dale’s knowledge, life experience and his love of all things aviation, he is an excellent addition to PacTex and looks forward to
assisting others follow their dream and achieve their goals. Joining PacTex also allows Dale to keep active in aviation once his part 121 career comes to a close.
