Born and raised an Idahoan with a love to try new things, Amanda quickly learned that flying was the most adventurous of them all.

After obtaining her degree in Hospitality from BYU-Hawaii and entering the corporate world, she very shortly realized that this environment was causing burn out instead of fulfillment.  Because her grandpa wouldn’t stop talking about his years in the Air Force boring holes in the sky, she took that inevitable intro flight that got her hooked.

Amanda's first adventure came in starting her family, which took her away from flight training initially. However, the feeling of liberation when you’re behind the yoke never left her.

Keeping her roots in the aviation community, Amanda found PacTex a perfect fit, being around the wonderous aviation community she’s grown to love but also giving her flexibility to grow her family.

Outside of aviation, Amanda can be found off roading in the Rockies, hitting slammers at the softball field, or teaching her daughter to snowboard.

Her goal at PacTex is to find the airplane each client has been dreaming about, fulfilling their personal flying needs. You can expect integrity and the most important part of communication, listening until understanding, when working with Amanda.
